Choosing Your Game Room Decor
Game room decor, decoration and decorations. Learn what works best to decorate your new game room with game room furnishings. Your decorating ideas don't just have to stop at wall colors, but what art, posters and other decor you can hang on your wall.
More game room decor comes in the form of not only the game room furniture, but also the game tables and accessories. For example, every pool table needs a rack for the pool cues. Do you use a wall mounted rack or a floor unit?
Also, many common items to a game room, such as popcorn poppers can be accent pieces. For example, do you use a red popper or a black popper? If you have a retro look going, the red may work fine. However, for a bolder look, you might also choose a black unit.
Lastly, game room decor should be functional. People are supposed to be having fun in this room. That means a mess will be cleaned up. Does the fabric, design and other attributes of what you are selecting clean easily? What are the tradeoffs? Use of a latex eggshell paint for your room color will clean much more easily than a flat paint.
